Program for Advanced Course:

At The Range

Did you ever dream of spending more time at your hobby or skill and vacationing in a country that offers professional training and touring?

Take your interests and capabilities to a higher level and bring home a new point of view.

Goal

To provide knowledge and effective learning tools for improving self-defense capabilities based on professional elite unit experience of Israeli Special Forces soldiers and commanders, in order to deal with the threats in our modern world. Under the direction of the best-trained team, participants with firearm backgrounds can further their capabilities by learning the Israeli approach.
The training includes instruction and practice with firearms and self-defense.

Method

A 5-day course that will include:

  • Weapon instruction with an Israeli view point of the special units,
  • training & practice in contact fighting with the expertise of Israeli professionals and
  • hand to hand combat
  • Guest speakers & discussions on the most topical global issues facing us today.

All in the pastoral setting on the Bazelet Range, on Kibbutz Ayelet Hashachar in the eastern Galilee.

Course Details

-Day - 1
Opening introduction- meeting the staff and hearing about their qualifications; participant expectation assessment;
details of course syllabus:

  • New global threats-the history, developments, attack methods, advantages and disadvantages.
  • Experience firing various weapons distinctive to the region, as used in the I.D.F.
  • Lunch Break
  • Getting to know the Handgun-Introduction, handgun maintenance; handgun safety.
  • Practice-Learn the Israeli method in the use of a handgun.
  • Self-Defensive shooting from a stationary position-70 rounds at the range.
    Dinner & activity: Guest speaker –IDF reserve officer.

-Day - 2

  • Principals of unarmed combat - Description of the Israeli view point.
  • Practice in unarmed combat-use of Israeli methods.
  • Principles of individual combat.
  • Lunch break
  • Live fire drill in changing situations & magazine reload-Israeli method.
  • Shooting skills in changing situations-80 rounds on the range.
  • Dinner & activity: Cook out in the Israeli Special Unit Style. Evening entertainment.
  • Get to know Night conditions-limitations, disadvantages, advantages, developing capabilities.
  • Night Shooting Exercise-live fire. (Night exercises will take place before diner in the winter months).

-Day - 3

  • Exercise in unarmed combat against offensive hand weapons.
  • Behavior under stress -dealing with violent situations.
  • Functioning in an emergency situation.
  • Lunch Break
  • Exercise in movement & shooting.
  • Movement & Shooting in the range-50 rounds.
  • Dinner & activity: BBQ in the Palm Grove and evening entertainment.

-Day - 4

  • Unarmed combat & fight management.
  • Dealing with threats in a hostile environment.
  • Lunch Break
  • Exercise in “cutting the pie” & use of cover.
  • Fire from cover while “cutting the pie”.
  • Night Exercise-practice in concealment and escape-with live amo (Night exercises will take place before dinner In the winter month’s).
  • Dinner & activity

-Day - 5

  • Unarmed combat against multiple adversaries.
  • Two sided combat under controlled conditions.
  • Two sided action on the Paintball Range.
  • Lunch Break
  • Exercises in a built up area.
  • Complex Combat Exercises in fire arms – 80 rounds.
  • Closing dinner, certificate presentation & evening entertainment at the conclusion of the day.

Health Declaration
Participation is dependent upon receipt of Health Declaration, (based on the State of Israel, Department of Interior Health Declaration for Gun owners) stamped and signed by a licensed doctor.

Course Includes

  • Approximately 700 rounds of ammo
  • “Coffee Breaks” – Open Self Service for Hot beverages
  • ,
  • “Snack Break” (mid day) cold drinks & snack.
  • Continuous Cold water fountain or bottled water.
  • Meals: 5 lunches at the range, 5 dinners per itinerary.

Including closing diner ceremony- Both courses meet together, on the last day of the 5 day Advanced course.

Note:
Participants of both the Advanced and Basic Plus programs

  • meet together for dinner and an activity at the conclusion of each day,
  • return together to overnight accommodations per itinerary, during the 5 days of the advanced course and
  • depart together each morning, after full Israeli breakfast buffet per itinerary.

**Scheduled time slots in the course itinerary and evening activities, scheduled places for course itinerary and evening activities might change due to reasons beyond our control or might change due to day light savings time and will not affect the quality of the course. An updated course time schedule will be available daily.
