The 2 day Basic Plus Course is particularly designed for enthusiasts and for the "average person" who would like to feel that self confidence in using self-defense techniques and effective safety skills, can change their lives.

Do you have a gun in your home? Why fall victim to a potentially fatal encounter when you can know how to use a firearm efficiently to defend your self and your loved ones?
Or maybe you are familiar with handguns and self-defense and yet a new outlook from experienced trainers could add some light on the subject?
Goals
- To equip the participants with knowledge and self-confidence in self-defense.
- To supply the participants with efficient tools that are based on professional Israeli experience from the best special unit forces for dealing with self defense in their daily lives and against threats in the modern world.
Method
A two-day course that will include :
- Learning a new angle from Israeli experts in self defense instruction and
- practice with firearms.
- exercises in hand to hand combat
- combined with informative discussions.
All in the pastoral setting of the Bazelet Shooting Range located at Kibbutz Ayelet Hashahar in the eastern Galilee.
Course Details
-Day - 1
- Opening introduction, co-ordination of expectations, course syllabus, the instructors and their qualifications.
- Insight into the new global threats, history, developments, assault methods, advantages & disadvantages.
- Introduction to & experience with various firearms associated with this particular region, as used in the I.D.F.
- Lunch
- Introduction to the Handgun, maintenance of the Handgun, Safety.
- Exercises-Learning to use the handgun the Israeli way.
- Self defense shooting from a stationary position – 70 rounds at the range.
- Dinner & activity: Guest speaker –IDF reserve officer.
-Day - 2
- Discussion & exercises- Principles of unarmed combat – Israeli style.
- Practical exercises in unarmed combat against offensive weapons
- Behavior under pressure due to violence.
- Functioning in emergency situations.
- Lunch
- Shooting exercises in changing situations – from the Israeli viewpoint.
- Shooting exercises – different positions / situations – Israeli methods-80 rounds.
- Night shooting introduction, limitations, advantages, disadvantages, developing capabilities.
Night exercises (will take place before diner in the winter months).
Diner & activity: Cook out in the new Israeli Special Unit Style. Evening entertainment.
Conclusion of course

Touring as described in the itinerary.
Dinner BBQ in the “Palm Grove” & evening entertainment
-Day - 4
Touring as described in the itinerary.
Diner & Activity
-Day - 5
Touring as described in the itinerary.
Closing dinner, certificate presentation & evening entertainment at the conclusion of the day.
Course Includes
- Approximately 250 rounds of ammo
- “Coffee Breaks” – Open Self Service for Hot beverages,
- “Snack Break” (mid day) cold drinks & snack.
- Continuous Cold water fountain or bottled water.
- Meals: 2 lunches at the range, 5 dinners per itinerary.
Including closing diner ceremony- Both courses meet together, on the last day of the 5 day advanced course.
Note:
Participants of the Basic Plus and Advanced programs
- meet together for dinner and an activity at the conclusion of each day,
- return together to overnight accommodations per itinerary,
- depart together each morning, after full Israeli breakfast buffet per itinerary.
Health Declaration – Participation is dependent upon receipt of the Health Declaration,
(based on the State of Israel, Department of Interior Health Declaration for Gun License
holders) stamped and signed by a licensed doctor.

reasons beyond our control or might change due to day light savings time and will
not affect the quality of the course.
