Jonathan Rice, President of “Rice Safety & Security Specialists”

Born in Great Britain, a citizen of Israel since 1967, Jonathan Rice, President of “Rice Safety & Security Specialists” is a certified Safety & Fire Safety Inspector of the Israeli Ministry of Labor. Jonathan qualified in his field in 1998 & established his business –Rice Safety & Security Specialists in early 2003. His list of clients includes numerous factories and residential communities in the Northern part of Israel. “Rice Safety & Security Specialists” provide all the services & equipment in the field of Safety in the work place, in the community, at the playground and in Fire prevention.

Jonathan has provided 35 years of law enforcement and security service to a Northern Israel community and was the liaison to the Border Police responsible for security matters ranging from preventing cattle & live stock thievery, to maintaining the shelters, maintaining the armory and the armaments & securing the community from hostile infiltration from land and air. During his Army Reserve service he was the Liaison officer between the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and the UN on the Northern border. As a liaison officer he represented Israel while accompanying UN officers on tour in the North.

In addition to qualifying as a Target Range Supervisor and Firearms and Combat Instructor Jonathan has participated in defense pistol courses in the U.S.A. and established relationships with Americans who are interested in learning Israeli techniques from experts and at the same time are enthusiastic in touring the Holy Land.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Shelli Rice immigrated to Israel 35 years ago. She has worked with various Israeli companies whose products are sold in the United States. Her expertise with graphics and fashion design has enhanced her diversified project portfolio combining imagination and creativity.

As a result of participation in programs for “Women’s Studies” Shelli has been a force behind programs in the development of small businesses & cottage industry on a community and regional level.

Her entrepreneurship “English is made for me” develops custom-made Conversational English programs for Israeli professionals, designed for individual client needs. Every program is tailor made for the strategic aims of Israeli businesses and establishments by upgrading English communication skills. The International companies that Shelli works with recognize improved communication in their individualized English business language as a key to grabbing onto global expansion and world competition.

It was Shelli’s vision to create a program offered by Israeli experts and combine it with touring historic sights in a modern Israel. The result of her vision and abounding energy is “Double Action Israel”, a subsidiary of “Rice Safety and Security Specialists”.
